Jim is a UK-based photographer from Birmingham, currently living in Manchester. He is self-taught.
Combining an unserious eye with his chosen photographic tools, his works aim to affectionately capture the character of scenes which often bear evidence of unknown humans, elevating them with a grand presentation.
Jim is a trustee of the photography charity Open Eye Gallery, based in Liverpool. As part of this voluntary governance work, he co-chairs their Communications and Data subcommittee.
